Genetic Disorders Assignment:

• Go to the University of Utah genetic disorders site
• Go to Single Gene Disorders and research Cystic Fibrosis, Huntington’s Disease, and Sickle Cell
• For each: describe what it is, the genetic cause, symptoms, treatment, and interesting facts (in notes)
• Then Go to Chromosomal Abnormalities and research Down Syndrome and Turner’s Syndrome, recording the same information.
• You may do this by yourself or in pairs
